Dear friends, Date: 18 November 2011
Prayer & Support
As you may know, I am at the moment coming to the end of my second semester at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Siegen, Germany. Over the last two semesters God has been so faithful to put a burden on my heart for missions and has this semester broken my heart for China. It has been such a blessing for me to be shown through the Word of God and answered pray, (which has blown my socks off!) that he is leading me to China in the future to serve Him and I desire so much that:
"The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the water cover the sea"
-Habakkuk2:14
However I know He has much that He wants me to learn and to grow before this comes to pass and I am so very glad that He is leading me step by step. Otherwise it would all be very overwhelming.
As of now, I am praying for direction on where God wants me next semester. I will be truly happy wherever He calls me, for I know His plan, no matter how stretching or hard it will be, is the best and will bring Him all the glory He deserves.
There are two areas that are on my heart to pray for, firstly my continued studies at Bible College- this may involve moving to another campus such as Murrietta, Califiornia as I pursue Gods guidence in His equiping me for His work and secondly I am praying whether I should continue my studies while serving a missionary family here in Europe.
Both of these present the same challenges however and I would greatly apprecitate prayer for:
- Direction in which area God would have me go.
- A continued burden for China. There are 10,000 new believers a day in China. Please join me in prayer for them and for Gods plan for me there.
- Provision:
If I am to return to bible college the provision for the costs of tuition, accomadation, flights and a student visa are high, which in my eyes seem huge however I know with God all things are possible.(Matt19:26)
On the other hand if God leads me to serve a missionary family in Europe I will also need continued support and provision to be able to furfill the service He calls me into there.
- Finally, please pray that I am open, willing and obedient to where God leads me and that I could say as Paul did, that “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Phil1:21)
I know you may not be able to help financially but prayer is just as important. If you are able to give financial support or are willing to pray for my ministry and my continued walk of faith with the Lord please do contact me with any questions.
Finally, I would like to say thank you for reading this letter and for considering my needs for
prayer and financial support. I am excited about his calling for me to learn in order to be sent out and hope you can share in my excitement.
May God bless you abundantly,
Eimear
